Rieng is your man

This is Rieng, pictured this weekend trying hard not to smile in Siem Reap
Ferrying us to the temples in Siem Reap this past weekend was my pal Kim Rieng, who I first met twelve years ago on the recommendation of a friend. And what a great recommendation that turned out to be. Over the intervening years, I've found Rieng to be resourceful, trustworthy and enthusiastic as a guide - he's a qualified Angkor tour guide - and we've done numerous trips both inside the Angkor park as well as to many less-visited temple sites off the beaten track. He knows his stuff and his English is very good, making him the perfect man to guide you around the temples. He's married to Sovann and they have two children, Nara and Chantrea, and when he's not guiding, he's a policeman on the Siem Reap force. I'm biased as Rieng is one of my best friends, but if you need a totally reliable guide in and around Siem Reap, don't hesitate to contact him on (855) 12 920 554 or by email at
