Discovering a fab night out

The Cambodian Space Project were in great form as usual
Great party and well chuffed were my thoughts after tonight's launch party for the new high class travel magazine, Discover - The Essence of Cambodia at Yi Sang restaurant on the riverfront. It was also the 5th birthday party for the monthly magazine Southeast Asia Globe. You can't really go wrong when you have Luu Meng's culinary team providing the nibbles, free flowing drinks, the excellent acrobats from Phare Ponleu Selpak and then two bouts of Cambodian Space Project to keep the guests entertained. Tassilo and his team did a great job with the party and have done a pretty fab job with the magazine as well. I couldn't fault it, apart from there being no mention of Phnom Penh Crown FC (only kidding). And the icing on the cake was a feature for my book, To Cambodia With Love, in the two page top tips on essential reading material. The review was generous and with the magazine being available all over the place for the next twelve months, it will keep the book in the public eye. Well chuffed was how I'd phrase it. Srey Thy and the CSP were in good form, I had my dancing shoes on and the happy snappers were out in force including Jim, Simon, Sak and the much-in-demand Nick Sells. An excellent evening by any standards.
