For any cookbook aficionados out there, a recipe book to accompany the forthcoming television series, Gordon's Great Escape South-East Asia
, will be out and on bookshelves in March this year. 100 of the British television chef Gordon Ramsay's favourite Southeast Asian meals will be included, selected from his culinary and adventure tours of Vietnam, Cambodia, Malaysia and Thailand, that he undertook last year. 272 pages and published by HarperCollins. I don't yet know when the actual television shows will be screened on Channel 4 in the UK, but I think it's pretty soon, with an obvious interest in the 1-hour Cambodia programme, as Hanuman were heavily involved in the production, taking Gordon and his team around the country to sample historic recipes and delicacies, before he is summoned to cook for royalty. Ramsay is famous for his television shows Hell's Kitchen and Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares which also became hit programmes on the Fox network in the USA. He also fronts the US version of MasterChef and his Southeast Asian adventures follow on the heels of a first series of programmes from India.
