Chayyam restaurant on Street 278 for some of my favourite fish amok as it's easy on the teeth and surprise, surprise, as part of their 4-times a week taste of Khmer culture, there was one of the best young dancers in the country, Sophea Chamroeun, from Children of Bassac, on stage. Sophea, as well as strutting her stuff with the Bassac show every Thursday at the national museum, also dances at Chayyam when she can. The restaurant puts on both music and dance performances every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from 7.30pm. And their fish amok is really good too.
