For starters

A fam trip team photo at the 4Rivers Floating EcoLodge. I'm in the white shirt, having failed to do my blue t-shirt and cap.
I've got a few photos to post from the fam trip to Koh Kong over the last 4 days. Here's some for starters.
Posing at the foot of the hill with the burial jars and coffins at Chi Phat with (LtoR) Thika, Kelly and Sandap
My motodop Taro and myself just before the rains arrived at Teuk Vet waterfall in Chi Phat
Fun and games at Tatai waterfall for one intrepid visitor

mate, cant believe you were here and didnt come say hello!i know your busy!it was funny seeing this photo of tatai as the guy jumping was staying here with his girlfriend for 4 days, was supposed to be here for 2, but loved koh kong and did all the trips, but i have to add his comment now i know it was you know the trip of khmers he met at tatai,he complained to them about the country's litter and disrespect of the environment and was impressed that young seemingly educated khmers all said "this disturbs them" ,then he watched them throw all there lunch litter around, which prompted him to say lovely country ,dumb people!on these trips as well as the khmers seeing and experiencing isnt time to discipline them with their litter, especially as there are westerners on the trip, all the tourism trips are getting it wrong,i know as i listen every day to the same comments from the tourist to cambodia, and all the same!"the litter and stupidity of the khmers with there attitude to it",lets see some proper supervision from the foreigners on these field trips and respect for the environment!

Sorry Jason, I had an hour or so spare at night so went to Cafe Laurent with some of my fellow trip colleagues; the ladies of course.
I told them all about Oasis Resort though.
Yes the litter at Tatai was pretty bad, especially at the top of the falls. I identified this to the trip organizers as well as the local Tatai Krom community leaders who were with us. I told them it was so important to keep the place clean and tidy and to have a warden or two on hand to remind the Khmer families of their need to recognise this important factor when visiting the falls.
The guy in the pic joined a group of khmers who were doing diving tricks into the falls. Other pics to be posted soon.

no worries mate, your a busy man,the litter here is increasing at tatai and at my favorite the remote koh poi and you can get there only by boat!we are doing are best collecting litter on our visits to there and the island with koh kong eco tours and we bring back a bag every tour collected by us and left by others, unfortunately its left by khmers!im not sure what was better,8yrs ago up there with no tourist ,just loggers,it is a subject of huge disappointment for me here in koh kong,so much for good Buddhist people respecting the environment,so much wasted NGO time and budgets on everything except litter education!later mate.
