Dr Kelly's view

I pinched this bike from some small children only to find out it had no working brakes. That'll teach me to steal.
One of my fellow fam trip colleagues last week in Koh Kong was Dr Kelly Drake (her doctorate is in animal stuff not human medicine so she would have been as useless as me in an emergency) from the About Asia tour company in Siem Reap. Kelly hails from New Zealand but we won't hold that against her. She sent me a few snaps from last week which I've posted here just to get her off my back. Only kidding Doc.
I'm on the ladder at the burial jar site in Chi Phat. This is a very rare photo of me wearing a cap. They gave us a cap each and I wore it, for the first time in my life. Honest.
I'm deep in a 1-sided conversation with the owner of the homestay at Chambok. She thinks I can speak Khmer as I said 'soksabai'. Sandap on the right thinks it's hilarious.
Dr Kelly's pride and joy, her sunrise at Koh Kong; taken whilst she was on an early morning walk over the bridge

Exactly how I felt. Way too old for this this adventure stuff. Especially as I could hardly see through the sweat that was pouring down my face. The khmers complained that there was no net to catch them if they fell off the ladder.
