Bou Meng's story

Bou Meng's book release on Sunday 23 May at 6pm
And if book launches are your 'thing' then Monument will host another event this week, on Sunday 23 May at 6pm, as well. Bou Meng, one of the handful of survivors from S-21 when the Vietnamese liberated Phnom Penh in the first week of January 1979, has been an important witness in the recent Khmer Rouge Tribunal and in a timely book release, his story, told by Huy Vannak of DC-Cam is published in Bou Meng: A Survivor from Khmer Rouge Prison S-21. Anyone interested in that tragic period of Cambodian history will be interested in Bou Meng's story.

Another great event in the Penh. Siem Reap is fckn boring at the moment. Maybe it's time to move back where the action is...

This Wednesday at 6.15pm at ACE, Milton Osborne, author of the book Phnom Penh, has been invited to speak about his Cambodia connections and visits to the country over the last few decades. I believe its open house for everyone who's interested.
