Preah Pithu, one of the less-visited group of temples within the walls of Angkor Thom. If you didn't know they were there, you'd miss them in the blink of an eye but they are well worth a look, if you have oodles of time to spare. Its a quiet corner of the city, well away from the crowds you find at other sites, and you'll be rewarded with an attractive forest setting, only birdsong for company and a wealth of carving if you keep your eyes peeled, as much of it sits on the grassy floor. There are five temples in all, curiously known by letter or number, rather than by name. More later.
